What if I need advice?

Upsu:advice is a free, confidential, independent, impartial advice and information service to all students and prospective students of the University of Plymouth. Upsu:advice is staffed by a team of friendly, approachable, professionally trained advisers. They each have particular areas of expertise, including student finances and academic issues, and are able to refer students to other agencies where expert help is required.

The service provides assistance on all aspects of student life, as well as providing general information about other issues that may concern you. You will be assisted to explore all possible options available to enable to reach the best decision for you.

The centre is situated on the first floor of the Students Union building at the Plymouth campus of the University of Plymouth. A drop-in service operates during term-time from 10.00-4.00p.m. Opening times may vary during vacations so it is advisable to phone for an appointment prior to visiting the office. Alternatively you can e-mail advice@su.plymouth.ac.uk or telephone 01752 588373.

We can arrange to telephone you back if you are in the UK within normal working hours but do not accept reverse charge calls. Where appropriate, appointments can be made for students not based at the Plymouth campus
