RELAYS (Regional Educational Legacy in Arts & Youth Sport) is an innovative and ambitious programme designed to inspire young people and their communities to participate in, create and promote cultural and sporting activities in the South West England. Its aim is to create a positive and lasting legacy beyond 2012.
We run and support a variety of exciting events and activities throughout the region and incorporate elements of sport, arts and culture. This is where you come in. Our work is supported by a team of student volunteers who have a major role in planning, co-ordinating and running a variety of events around the region.
Whether it’s helping out on the day at a festival, or gaining experience in organising and planning an event, RELAYS has many opportunities for you to be involved with:
• Event planning & organisation |
• Marshalling at festivals & events |
• Marketing & PR |
• Mentoring |
• Sports Coaching |
• Facilitating workshops |
• Filming & documenting of festivals & events |
• Sponsorship & Fundraising |
Experience and training - make yourself stand out from the crowd when applying for your dream job after university by gaining valuable training and experience in being involved in sports and cultural events. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of the London 2012 legacy for the South West.
