The Vice President of Activities and Communication is a Trustee of UPSU and is the lead officer on all activities, other than sports. They are also responsible for the internal and external communications of the Union. This generally focuses their work on societies, media (including the newspaper, radio station and website), RAG and volunteering, including representing students in each of these areas to the University and external agencies. He/She also has specific responsibility to be the lead student officer in liaising with a University faculty, including representing students at faculty level meetings. Accountability is to members of UPSU involved in non-sports based activities and UPSU Parliament.  .
