Are you looking to make new friends whilst visiting some of the UK's top attractions? If you are then join us on our trips out. We visit a variety of places including historical cities, relaxing country houses, lively shopping centres and beautiful countryside, sometimes all in one day!If you have a place that you would like to visit then let us know and we could make it happen.

Please make sure that you have all you need for a day out, you may need a waterproof coat or sunscreen depending on the weather. Food is not included so please bring your own food or money to buy sometihing. Children and partners of students are welcome to join us and all trips out require that you buy your tickets in advance.

Children under the age of three are able to sit on an adults lap, children older than this must sit on a seat on their own and as such require a ticket.

International students with a discount voucher from the International Students Advisory Serivce will need to buy a ticket at full price and will recieve thier discount from UPSU on production of their voucher, for more information about this or any other query please send an email using the form at the bottom of this page.

Saturday 2nd October 2010 - City of Bath  £15



This trip costs £15 which covers the cost of transport to and from Bath only

Bath and the surrounding area is brimming with things to see and do. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge alongside a diverse collection of museums and attractions. The compact city centre offers irresistible shopping and there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area.
Discover Bath's heritage at the world famous Roman Baths, or visit the 15th century Bath Abbey. From art and history, to fashion and Jane Austen, there really is something for everyone.

The transport for this trip will leave Plymouth at 07:00 and depart Bath at 17:30

Saturday 30th October 2010 - City of Cardiff  £15


This trip costs £15 which covers the cost of transport to and from Cardiff ony

Visit Cardiff the capital of Wales and experience welsh culture and history in this vibrant city. Take an open top bus tour of the city and see all the top attractions and learn about the history of Cardiff. Explore the breathtaking Cardiff Castle and immerse yourself in welsh history at the National Museum of Wales. Cardiff is a capital for shopping, and with a combination of designer brands, high street names as well as more individual and independent shops, there's something for everyone.

The transport for this trip will leave Plymouth at 07:00 and depart from Cardiff at 17:30

Saturday 20th November 2010 - The Eden Project  £15


 

This trip costs £15 which includes travel to and from Cornwall and entrance into the Eden Project


The Eden Project is a global garden: a place of beauty and wonder which explores humankind's dependence on natural resources. Here you will find crops, landscapes and wild plants which reflect the amazing diversity of our planet. There's also internationally famous architecture and art which draw inspiration from nature; and a stage on which people working to make our world a better place can tell their stories.
