Where can you ask UPSU managers why the bar is painted grey? Or University big wigs why catering isn't up to scratch? Whilst also holding your executive Sabbatical Officers to account and setting the political strategy for your union?
Student Parliament is the highest democratic structure at UPSU outside of open meetings (such as Annual General Meetings) which consists of student representatives elected by students at the University of Plymouth to make sure that UPSU is doing what it is supposed to do and in the way that it is supposed to do so.
Future meetings will be held at 18:30 on the top floor Babbage Building room 406 on....
30th October 2012
27th November 2012
15th January 2013
AGM 5th February 2012 in the Sublime Bar, UPSU from 18:00
14th March 2013
For more information on how to get involved in Parliament please contact:
Rob Young: chair@upsu.com
The Sabbatical Officers are full-time paid students, who either take a year out of their study to participate or who have just graduated.
The Students elect the officers to run the union and Student Parliament holds them to account - it even has the power to fire them if they do things really wrong!!
