University of Plymouth Students' Union have won a Gold Award in the Green Impact Students' Unions scheme.
The award recognises steps UPSU has made to make its operations more environmentally friendly and to become a more ethical association.
Green Impact is an environmental accreditation and awards scheme, bringing staff and students together with their wider communities to enable and showcase positive changes in environmental practice.
Green Impact recognise the potential of staff and students to change the way their institutions behave, from the bottom up. So, working across UK students’ unions, universities, colleges and community organisations, Green Impact works with teams and departments to make simple, tangible and powerful changes in behaviour and policy.
