We are a group of friendly skaters who skate anything that has wheels on it, this includes but is not limited to roller skates, skateboards, longboards, BMX and scooters. We have a range of activities for you to try from roller derby to skateparks and we have plenty of outdoor and indoor flat spaces in and around Plymouth for all levels to practise their tricks!

Safety is very important to us, so we always offer free pads and helmets hire. For roller derby sessions helmets and pads are mandatory, for all other sessions it’s up to you. We highly recommend you wear pads and helmets especially if you are a beginner, practicing a difficult trick or are in a skatepark.

Our Weekly Sessions:

Wednesday 7.30 to 9.30pm Heles Dome Roller Derby

• Only for roller skaters(quads)
• Open to all levels
• Coached sessions
• Learn how to play roller derby!
• Open to all genders
• Free kit hire available
• Costs £17 per month, plus free entry to friday skate sessions.
• Free tasters are on the 25/9/24 and 2/10/24

Friday 7pm to 8pm Heles Dome skate:

• Only open to roller skaters and inline skaters
• There will be expirenced skaters avaliable to help at every session.
• Kit hire available.
• Costs: £2 members, £5 guests and £8 guests + kit hire per session, or buy an annual friday skate pass for £24 (50% off for the year)
• Kit hire is free to members, just remember to let the committee know you need it!

Other Things we do:

• Coached Sessions - we organise regular skateboard/scooter/rollerskate sessions at spots all around the city, often with expirenced skaters to help and kit hire avaliable.
• Girls and non-binary night at Prime skatepark - ask the committee for more details
• Summer Trip - We organise a trip every year to explore another cities skate culture, previous trips have included Copenhagan, Barcelona, London, and Brighton!
• Outdoor Sessions - When the sun is shining and the ground is dry, we organise free outdoor sessions. These are for all abilities and all wheels and we often have coaches available!
• Socials - Want to explore Plymouth without any wheels on your feet? We have at least monthly socials both drinking and sober.
• Discounts and sponsors - Vandem longboard shop, Mango Surfing, Prime Skate park , Fever and Momma Truckers! Ask the committee for details of offers!
