These are the governing documents for University of Plymouth Students' Union (UPSU), known as the Students' Union. The governing documents set out the our charities objects or purpose, how it is to be administered and how we will do it.
The Memorandum and Articles of Association is the governing document that defines the Students' Unions aims and objectives and the way the organisation undertakes its core functions.

The Bye-Laws are documents that supplement the Memorandum and Article of Association by setting out rules and regulations for various areas of the Students' Union's activities in more detail. Bye-Laws can only be changed with the consent of the Trustee Board.
