Simple changes can have big impacts!

The Student Union and University are both committed to an environmental and sustainable future for all. I want to build upon this commitment.

It’s time for us to make a difference. As students we have a responsibility to ensure we are committed to a sustainable future.

I want to support you to make simple changes that will benefit us all and the city in which we live and, in your future lives, as I believe simple changes can have big impacts.

• I would like to see more recycling bins on campus that are for specific recyclables like plastics and cans.

• Engage UPSU to become proactive on its commitment to support societies who champion environmental, sustainable and ethical causes on campus.

• Raise awareness of groups like the Beekeeping Group on campus, as many students do not know of its existence!
