Hi, my name is Obioha Emmanuel Chukwunwike (CHUKS) and I am a 3rd year business student. I am running to be your next Vice president of activities in the upcoming sabbatical elections because I am passionate about serving you the students. I am passionate about serving students in the best way I can, I want to represent your interests and ensure that I deliver my key policies and champion the voice of students.
Societies and clubs right now need certainly and sustainable innovative ideas to ensure that our clubs and societies can carry on, I pledge to work directly with you to ensure that we can build back better and provide a strong, more diverse community and build bridges where there gaps to ensure that no-one is left behind.
My key points are:
- I will lobby the UPSU to create a new sustainable campaign to drive awareness of environmental issues within societies and sports clubs, and ensuring clubs and societies have sustainable ides going forward to match the UPSU’s environment commitments.
- Lobby the UPSU to ensure clubs and societies are able to run more efficiently and ensure that the complicated process’s involved are slimmed down to create a seamless system rather than the bureaucratic system currently in place.
- I want to address the problems coronavirus has created within our campus, this means working with societies and clubs to pursue a positive path going forward to ensure that every club and society has the support it needs.
I strongly believe, by working with all the students and implementing these policies together we can achieve success.
