What motivated you to run for a Sabbatical Officer role and why do you think you would be a good Sabbatical Officer
My motivation is borne out of the late Myles Munroe, (a renowned author, speaker, and leadership consultant) school of thought that, the importance of visionary leadership is rooted in a clear sense of purpose, guided by principles such as integrity, accountability, and service. I therefore desire to always get involved anywhere I find myself, exhibiting these values.
Why is the Sabbatical Officer role important?
The sabbatical officer role is important because there must always be an intermediary between the University's management and the students. There is therefore, the need to have someone who cannot be easily manipulated or intimidated to be a voice for the students' community for effective innovation policy and decisions.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Confident, Friendly and Optimistic
If you could change one thing about the University, what would that be
I will change the low level of students' engagement on the activities going on within the union. I will ensure more students' participation across all levels by getting to hear their views more through regular interactive programmes, surveys and focus group sessions.

Who do you draw most inspiration from and why?
I draw my inspiration from the Holy book, the Bible because, God who is the focus of this book is the most sovereign in the whole universe.
What is your proudest moment so far and why?
My proudest moment was the day I won a good grant for my organization (precisely, last year, March). This milestone enabled my organization to create more job opportunities for the people in my community. The privilege of seeing people earning their daily living and being happy was a proud moment for me.
