What motivated you to run for a full-time representative role?
I believe that student voices deserve to be heard and they can shape decisions that affects us all. Working as a UPIC ambassador it gave me a clear view on how people view the school, the hopes and dreams that they have about the university experience and that is what I want to everyone to experience both that quality education and that adventurous university life. Also advocating for mental health is something I am interested in because in reality no one prepares you for the reality of life.
Why do you think you would be a good President?
I believe I will be a good president because I am passionate about amplifying the student voices and my commitment to advocations for student interests shows how I genuinely care about making a positive impact. I believe that there is room for meaningful changes be it through events, improved academic support or stronger collaborations with societies.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Fun, Honest and Happy
If you could change one thing in your Faculty what would that be?
The learning environment is something I will love to change in my department. The distance to our lecture halls are far apart which lives us some minute lates or discourages us from attending. The learning conditions of the halls as some boards do not allow for calculations which hinders practical explanations sometimes.
