Join the Green Team and Volunteer with Tulgey Woods!
Tulgey Woods Sancturary CIC provides a home for various forms of flora and fauna. Many species are to be expected but some are a little more unusual.
Tasks will involve general maintenance of the woods as well as helping to identify new species of plant and wildlife in the area. This work may contain some tasks that will work up a sweat so please take this into consideration.
Weather appropriate clothing and suitable shoes will be needed during your time and please bring water and a snack.
As Tulegy Woods foucses on saving the planet all attendees will be walking to and from the woods - this is approximately a 25 min walk. The UPSU has wellington boots and waterproof clothing to borrow if you do not have any to hand. Please email volunteer@su.plymouth.ac.uk if you wish to borrow something.
Please ensure a free ticket is purchased to reserve your space!

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
