Join the Animal Conservation team as we volunteer with Dartmoor Zoo
Join the Animal Conservation Team as they support Dartmoor Zoo.
As a charity, volunteers provide vital support and contribute to the success of Dartmoor Zoo. There are many rewarding volunteer roles at Dartmoor Zoo, offering you a unique opportunity to work alongside a variety of animals and join our enthusiastic team.
Roles range from helping us to provide an involved and exciting experience for all of our guests, through to helping with the groundskeeping and maintenance, or helping out the animal husbandry teams.
Please note that this volunteering experience is not interacting with animals and involves physical/outdoor/independent work such as groundskeeping and building enclosures.
Free transport is provided to all those attending. The UPSU has wellington boots and waterproof clothing to borrow if you do not have any to hand. Please email volunteer@su.plymouth.ac.uk if you wish to borrow something.
Please purchase a free ticket to reserve your space . A receipt from purchasing your free ticket will tell you all of your event details and where to meet - this will be an email confirmation.
Event photography and video
Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
