Each year, 10th October marks World Mental Health Day 💚

The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues, share support and to promote positive steps that we can all take to improve all aspects of wellbeing leading to positive mental health.

We will be running a range of events over the course of World Mental Health Day (Thursday 10th October) - keep your eyes peeled for updates, we'll be adding more information to this page closer to the event.

  • 07:30 - 16:00 - SU Gym Open Day - come along and use the gym for free (whether you're a member or not!)
  • 10:00 - 16:00 - Chill out space in the SU Lounge - designated space to read, listen to audiobooks/podcasts and play games
  • 12:00 - 16:00 - Free Table Tennis in the SU Big Room
  • 13:00 - 15:00 - Crafternoon: Tote Bag Painting
  • 17:00 - 18:00 - Give it a Go: Indoor Cricket - come along for only £1.50 (booking essential, book here)
  • 18:00 - 19:00 - Give it a Go: 5-a-side Football - only £1.50 for World Mental Health Day (booking essential, book here)

Weather dependent - on the SU roof we'll be playing badminton and giving out free chai lattes and hot chocolates to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling.
