🎶 Southwest Universities Concert Band Festival 2025 🎶
Get ready, for some tunes! The University of Plymouth is thrilled to host this year’s Southwest Universities Concert Band Festival on Saturday, 8th March 2025!
Join us as we welcome concert bands from Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, and of course, Plymouth for a day of incredible music, camaraderie, and fun. With performances ranging from awe-inspiring wind band pieces to thrilling stage & screen themes, it’s a celebration of music you won’t want to miss!
📍 Event Location
The festival will take place at the Roland Levinsky Building (RLB) on the University of Plymouth campus, right in the heart of the city.
🎤 Performance Schedule
Key Times:
10:30 AM – Doors open for Audience
10:50 AM – Welcome Introductions & Judge Panel
11:15 AM - 3:55 PM – Performances by Plymouth, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff & Exeter
4:00 PM – Mass Band Photo & Judge Deliberations
4:30 PM – Awards Ceremony
We’ll wrap up the day by mingling at the venue, open until 6:30 PM.
