Volunteers wanted for Age UK!

Are you interested in volunteering with the elderly within the local community? Age UK are looking for volunteers for a variety of roles (click on the role to find out more!) 

Day centre volunteer: This role involves assisting in a community based day centre with the aim of helping older people maintain their dignity and independence. through helping them with general day to day activities and assisting with the planning and running of activities in the Day Centre.

Events Assistant: To assist the marketing department in educating and informing local communities and groups about the essential services that Age UK Plymouth provide including attending community information events.

Admin Support: To provide an efficient and welcoming reception service and to provide typing and clerical support as required. 

Receptionist/Administration Assistant: To provide an efficient and welcoming reception service and to provide typing and clerical support as required.

Information & Advice Assistant: To assist the Information and Advice department in educating and informing local communities and groups about the essential services that Age UK Plymouth provide and signposting people where appropriate to other relevant organisations. 

Other roles include Activities Volunteer, Catering Assistant Volunteer & Weekend Club volunteer!
