One recurring issue across multiple year groups has been problems with Panopto recordings, either not being recorded or not uploaded in a timely manner. This was initially raised in the faculty-wide meeting, as the issue first emerged in the foundation year. Staff have responded positively and acknowledged the need for greater consistency in this area. If the problem persists, students are advised to contact their lecturer in the first instance or provide feedback to their student representative to raise the matter again in future meetings.

Attendance has been an ongoing concern raised by staff, particularly regarding second-year students. A common issue has been students attending only to take a picture of the attendance code before leaving the lecture. To address this, lecturers will now distribute codes at different points during the session to discourage this behavior. It is important to note that attendance monitoring serves not only as a professional expectation, especially in vocational courses, but also plays a role in safeguarding and providing recommendations for placements or lab projects.

Additionally, concerns were raised regarding the essay grades from 2023. This matter has been discussed with program leads; however, as it arose at the end of the term when no further meetings were scheduled, I will be following up on this issue during the current semester.
