Every year Law Career.Net sends out a form to the Law Society for them to send out to their members, it is about everything a Law Society can do from career events, competitions, and even socials. This year the University of Plymouth Law Society was nominated for best social for their charity netball game in aid of Inside Justice, which is their society charity for the year.
A member of the Law Society said:
"It was an honour to be short-listed against so many other amazing university law societies and an extremely proud moment to win."
As well as this, they also held their annual dodgeball game on the 15th of December 2021, it was inspired by a tournament one of their members had attended in the first year, from this they were able to raise a good sum of money for their chosen charity Inside Justice. They invited members to bring their friends and housemates to play and after the game, they were able to throw a wet sponge over a committee member of their choice. But it didn't end there after all the sponges had been thrown for £5 they could throw a bucket of water over a committee member which unfortunately was India Ellis the co-events and activities officer for the law society.
