On the 14th of October, PsySoc Committee and members (Charlie Hopkins, Alice Child, Aled Griffiths, Nathalie Shotton, and Charlotte Williams) hosted a bake sale to raise money for Alzheimer's Society on the SU roof.
"We intended to run this bake sale in order to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's Society who conducts research into Alzheimer's experiences, symptoms, how to alleviate these and further they are looking into helping fund treatments. Lecturers, students and staff all stopped by to support the cause. In total we raised £130 for the cause."
The event went really well and the engagement was amazing, we were able to speak to people and explain what Alzheimer's Society does to improve individual lives. - Charlotte Williams
