Plymouth RAG share a tipple at Plymouth Gin Distillery

On February the 3rd 2022, Plymouth RAG Society (Raise And Give) went on a social trip to Plymouth Gin Distillery, where they then took part in the tour and tasting lesson.

Overall they spent 3 hours in the Distillery taking a tour looking at all of the working areas as well as gaining an insight into techniques that are still used to this very day.

The Plymouth Distillery is the oldest working distillery in England. It has been making Plymouth Gin according to the original recipe since 1793.

Members said that the best part of the day was the tasting session, where they were able to try three different Plymouth Gins and were given a complimentary drink in the bar.

Raise and Give are looking for next year's committee to help keep the fundraising going at the University of Plymouth. There are multiple roles available and all you need is a passion for helping and fundraising for amazing causes!
