Last weekend (25th and 26th November 2023), the University of Plymouth Ultimate Frisbee Women's Team played at the University Women's Regionals at WV Active Central, Wolverhampton, and managed to secure a spot at nationals!
The Ultimate Frisbee Women's Team played against 16 other teams in the Western Division, captained by Abigail Stacey, to secure this spot at the University Nationals, which will take place in February 2024.
This continues the now four year streak of our women's team making nationals; they will be looking to improve on last year where they came 8th in the country! -- Ultimate Frisbee
Congratulations!

What is Ultimate Frisbee?
Ultimate is a non-contact, self-refereed team sport played with a flying disc (or Frisbee). It relies upon 'spirit of the game' that places the responsibility for fair play on every player. There are no referees; the players are solely responsible for following and enforcing the rules, even at the World Championship. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules, and the basic joy of play.
