On Sunday 6th October over 70 University of Plymouth students from six different clubs and societies took part in the Plymouth 10k event through Plymouth City Centre.
Members from the above clubs and societies ran the 10km track in aid of five different charities and between them raised an astonishing £8000.
"Running the 10km is such an exciting event, it gives a sense of self accomplishment not just for receiving the medal, but for all the money raised for the charities. Seeing all the student groups from Plymouth taking part gives a real sense of community, it really demonstrates just how good 'Team Plymouth' is" - Verity Lemm, UPSU VP Sport
