Cyberbullying within our student community will not be tolerated

homepage

We are aware of recent online trolling / cyberbullying within our student community, and we would like to remind students that as a Union we have a zero-tolerance stance to this behaviour.

We take this behaviour extremely seriously and it will not be tolerated within our community. If we are able to identify the individuals involved in this behaviour, we will address this with the full force of the Union and will not hesitate to escalate this to the University and the police if necessary.

As a Union, we believe everyone should be free from intimidation or harassment This includes protection from prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, marital or maternity/paternity status, race, religious and other beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, trans status, socio-economic status, ideology or culture, nationality, political belief, spent criminal convictions, health, language, appearance or any other form of distinction.
