As we get to the end of the year, you might have found yourself with all sorts of stuff that you no longer need.
Maybe you raided IKEA in your first year and that lemon squeezer has just never been used or perhaps you’re moving in with family or friends who’ve got the kitchen equipment covered.
If you’re looking around your flat or house and starting to think about packing for the end of term – make sure that you donate, don’t dump.
We can accept:
- Pots
- Pans
- Crockery
- Cups/mugs
- Glasses
- Utensils
- Cutlery
- Small electrical items
Unfortunately, we can’t accept white goods, such as refrigerators, freezers, washing machines etc.
How to donate:
We will be accepting donations in the Students’ Union (The Hive) on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st May between 9am - 5pm. Alternatively, you can book a slot to have your items collected from your home on these days by filling out this form.
If you’re booking a household collection, please make sure that there is someone at home available to hand over the items and that you’ve read which items we can and can’t accept.
What we’ll do with your donations:
We will store all donations in the Students’ Union over the Summer period while our building is closed. In September, all the items kindly donated will be made available to new and returning students who are looking for the essentials to start off their new life at Uni.
