As we get to the end of the year, you might have found yourself with all sorts of stuff you no longer need.
Maybe you raided IKEA in your first year, and that lemon squeezer has never been used, or perhaps you’re moving in with family or friends who’ve covered the kitchen equipment.
If you’re looking around your flat or house and starting to think about packing for the end of term – make sure that you donate, don’t dump.
We can accept:
- Pots
- Pans
- Crockery
- Cups/mugs
- Glasses
- Utensils
- Cutlery
- Small electrical items
Unfortunately, we can’t accept white goods, such as refrigerators, freezers, washing machines etc.
How to donate:
We will be accepting donations in The Hive inside the Students’ Union from the week commencing Monday, 22nd May, throughout summer during our opening hours.
During term-time: 9am – 5pm
Monday 5th June onwards: 10am – 4pm
What we’ll do with your donations:
We will store all donations in the Students’ Union over the Summer period while our building is closed. All the donated items will be made available to new and returning students looking for the essentials to start their new life at Uni.
