Can you spare an hour and a half to participate in a focus group in return for a £15 voucher?
We are looking for a broad range of students to give feedback about the university’s work on harassment and sexual misconduct, what their current understanding is, and how this work should be developed in future.
The focus groups will look to broadly explore student understanding and views on harassment and sexual misconduct:
- Gain insight into what you think falls under the umbrella of ‘harassment and sexual misconduct’
- Gain insight into what you may have experienced or witnessed
- Do you know how to report incidents: are you aware of Speak Up? What barriers are there to reporting and how we can overcome those?
- In relation to training, campaigns and prevention work the University is doing moving forwards, how would you prefer to engage with training and information and what do you think the focus should be?
The Office of Students requires that all universities have specific processes and policies to both prevent and respond to incidents of harassment and sexual misconduct, but we need students like you to shape what that looks like at the University of Plymouth.
There are two options of focus groups to attend;
- Tuesday 11th Feb – 1500 – 1630
- Thursday 13th Feb – 1500 – 1630
Please express your interest in attending a focus group using the sign up form.
