On the 15th of February 2025, University of Plymouth SwitchUp Society organised a group litter picking activity on the outskirts of campus to support CleanUp Plymouth, help members network and make friends, and to have fun!
"SwitchUP litterpicked the underpass to the west of campus, and the road north of campus, collecting a total of 4 bags of litter!
All committee and some members also dressed up as Nintendo characters as part of the society forfeit for raising £1500 for Children on the Edge, including, but not limited to Pikmin, Kirby, Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Luigi, Waluigi, Toad and King Boo!"
We completed our forfeit for raising £1500 for Children on the Edge: Litter picking in Nintendo costumes.
