Did you know you can WIN PRIZES just by voting in the student elections?!

By voting in the Student Elections, you are automatically entered into a prize draw to win some huge prizes that we know every student will love during their time at University. Place your vote and be in with a chance of winning...

Can anyone be in with a chance of winning these prizes?!

YES - as long as you VOTE in the Student Elections you are in with a chance! You don’t need to delay voting to be in with a chance of winning any of our prizes or to grab some freebies – you are automatically entered into the prize draw which will be announced after voting closes on the 28th of February at midday.

If you see one of our SU stalls on campus and want to pick up a FREE sweet treat, you’ll just need to show us on your phone that you’ve already placed your vote or vote then and there! Keep an eye on our socials (Insta: @up.su) to see where all our pop-up stalls are so you don't miss out on grabbing some goodies!

Other than some fantastic freebies and prize draw giveaways, why else should you vote?

This year the roles have changed meaning those elected have an even bigger impact on your student experience.

The four students who are elected will have a direct say in how the Students’ Union is run and the strategic direction of the SU by speaking on your behalf at high-level meetings and working alongside SU staff, the University of Plymouth, and external organisations.

You can learn more about why your vote matters here.

When and how can I vote?

Once voting opens on the 24th of February you can cast your vote for each of the four roles. Voting is online only, and all you need is your student login details to vote. Voting is anonymous and takes just a few minutes. Voting closes on the 28th of February at midday.

When will the results of the Student Elections be shared?

Our new Sabbatical Officer team will be announced during the Results Night on the 28th of February in the SU main room at 18:00. All students are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
