This week on Thursday 15th August, many students will recieve their A-Level results which may determine which University thet get into in September.
We know that waiting to get your A-Level results can be a very tense time and it is perfectly normal to feel nervous this week. Here are some top tips on getting through the next couple of days....
1. Try not to panic...
Easier said than done, but the results you get on Thursday won’t be changed by panicking. You've done the hard work and the results you get are now out of your control. So, give yourself a break and make time to do the things you love.
2. Talk about it!
If you're nervous about Thursday - talk about it. Whether that's with friends or family, talking it through will help you put things in to perspective.

3. Take a break!
It's so easy to get into the cycle of refreshing the UCAS page, reading the news about A Level Results or scrolling through how nervous everyone else is. Step away from your phone and give yourself time to think about something else.
4. Try and be prepared...
Plan out the day so it feels less overwhelming. You should be able to check your UCAS status at 8am on Thursday morning so make sure you've got your log-in details to hand.
If the results are not as you hoped on Thursday, remember that emotional support is available through Student Minds and other mental health support services that you can contact if you feel you need to talk to someone.
