"The last couple of days I have been hearing ‘why should we vote’, ‘what’s the point in voting?’, and ‘it doesn’t really affect me.’

And honestly, I get it. 

If you aren’t an applicant it might feel like this isn’t for you, but here’s the thing...

Do you know who influences decisions about the student experience, about your accommodation, your student fees, your campus spaces, your student support? Student leaders do – and the ones you elect sit in rooms where big decisions happen; rooms where students usually don’t have access.
