On the 6th of March, the committee of the Zoology Society (Ben Sharp, Lana Carter, Emerson Roffey, Charlie Hamilton, and Leila Dixon Reid), 10 lecturers from the Biological Sciences courses, and 51 members of the Zoology Society as well as friends, took part in a 'students vs lecturers' quiz to raise money for charity.
Members shared an overview of their successful fundraising evening...
"There were teams of students and teams of lecturers competing against everyone else to try and get the most points during the quiz!
We raised £200 pounds for Cancer Research UK! It wouldn't be possible without the lecturers help and attendance.
Lecturers won with an average score of 5 more points compared to the students, but a student group came first overall!"
Great work to the committee, lots of fun, money raised and you all made an excellent and well organised event - Alex Wilson, Zoology Programme Lead
