Hello everyone! My name is Elizaveta Streltsova, or Lisa for short. I’m in my first year of a Postgraduate Degree in Architecture, and I’m delighted to be this year’s School Representative for the School of Art, Design and Architecture!!!

What I aim to accomplish as a School Representative:

• Improve the academic student experience by promoting dialogue and serving as a much-needed mediator between the student body and the university, gathering feedback and relaying it to ensure that student voices are heard, their input is valued, and actions are taken.
• Make sure that every course is represented through designated course reps through meetings to discuss ongoing issues within the school and explore potential solution
• Inspire active participation of students in school activities, feedback sessions, and events that enrich both academic and social experiences by making sure that they are aware of the opportunities that are available for them

A little bit about me

I am a friendly, hard-working individual with a passion for architecture and design. My fascination with arts led to hobbies like crocheting, painting, and sculpting. In the past it was my pleasure to serve as a President of the Photography Society. Throughout my Undergraduate studies as well as currently, I am active in PARCs – the Plymouth Architectural Society. Many may know me from the "Hello" project, where we help international students settle in.

Through my experience, I understand the challenges many students face in balancing university life with their personal lives, which can impact their academic engagement. Having had a wonderful experience completing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Plymouth, I hope, as your school representative, to support you and make your academic journey just as rewarding.
