Hi, I'm Lizzie, a second-year Human Bioscience student and the school rep for Biomedical Sciences.

My aims as school rep:

• To improve communication between staff and students on issues around courses, feedback and lectures
• Make sure all students feel heard and comfortable speaking freely about any issues that arise.

Ensure all courses are fairly represented by a course rep. If having a course rep isn’t feasible, ensure the people on that course are kept in the loop, making sure everyone in the school has a voice.

A little about me:

I am a mature student who started with a foundation year. This last year, I have been a course rep and a PALs leader, and while doing that, I have developed strong relationships with staff, so I am very confident going to them with problems. I have had previous experience in a wide variety of careers, primarily in healthcare; I also have several disabilities, and I will be bringing all of these experiences into my role as a school rep.
