The African Caribbean Society (ACS) at the University of Plymouth is a multicultural, student-led society that seeks to create a safe space to unite BAME students of African and Caribbean descent and broadly, anyone captivated by the culture.
We aim to EMPOWER, EDUCATE, and CELEBRATE!
Through recreational, educational, and fundraising socials we strive to promote and raise awareness to not only our members but the larger student body and the general public about issues revolving around the African and Caribbean culture, history, achievements, social/political affairs as well as other matters regarding the BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community.
We host a range of face-to-face and virtual events throughout the year to suit everyone. So, do not be shy! Come and be a part of our cultural fusion! ACS Plymouth is a place for fun, family, and fête! We excitedly welcome any Individuals!
T-shirts and hoodies with the society logo are set to become available throughout the year. #WatchThisSpace on our socials for further updates and inquiries.
