Info about fees within student groups

Sports Subscriptions (subs): Everyone who signs up to a Sports Club must first pay a subscription (Subs) fee of £20. This fee is reinvested back to students by supporting UPSU Sports Club activities and funding facilities, transport, insurance, events and BUCS/Competition entries and affiliations. UPSU does not make any profit from this charge. The subscription fee is a one off payment it can be paid at the same time or any time before signing up to a Club, it must be paid even if a Club does not charge a membership fee.

This fee is reinvested back to students by supporting UPSU Society activities and funding facilities, transport, insurance, events and affiliations. UPSU does not make any profit from this charge. The subscription fee is a one off payment it can be paid at the same time or any time before signing up to a Society, it must be paid even if a Society does not charge a membership fee.

Membership Fees: These are set by the Sports Clubs or Societies and it does vary on what is included within the membership fee there may be additional costs throughout the year – it is advisable to contact the Club or Society before signing up.
