Chinese Society aims at providing excellent service for Chinese scholars and students. We not only offer general support and advice, but also organise socials and events all around the year. Non-Chinese scholars and students who are interested in Chinese culture and social activities are also very welcome. 

We hold a lot of socials throughout the year. Examples include welcome party,  single party, Halloween party,  New year’s party, and we also organise a lot of trips like trip to Edinburgh for New Year's Eve, trip to Bicester shopping village and trip to Europe.

We have a couple of annual important events that we usually do every year such as Chinese New Year Celebration (in coordination with university), basketball championship for sports lovers, and singing competition. For the past, we have also invited important people from the Chinese Embassy; companies and organisations to give students talks to help students settle down and improve employability.
