Plymouth General Practice Society

A society to provide information to Plymouth based medical students, nursing students and students of the allied health professions about General Practice and Primary Care. 

We regularly hold a variety of events including:

-Refreshing basic clinical skills - this is a good opportunity to practice for any healthcare professional, not just medical students!

-Teaches focussing on topics relevant to General Practice; these are provided by medical students and local GPs, and usually feature free pizza!

-Social events, including our popular speed dating event! These events give you the chance to talk to GPs and other like-minded students about the realities of general practice (the good, the bad and the ugly) in an informal environment, with plenty of food and drink. 

We have good links with the Royal College of General Practice, meaning we have lots of support to make our events even better for students!
