GeogSoc is the University of Plymouth’s Geography Society. 

As one of Plymouth Universities biggest non-sport societies, Geogsoc is open to everyone no matter what you are studying. By joining Geogsoc and attending our socials you will make friends, memories and enjoy possibly the finest night out Plymouth has to offer. For our members studying Geography, this is also a great way to get to know your course mates outside the classroom as well as being the first to know about the geography related opportunities that we get offered.

We also have a netball and football team which have both been hugely successful in the past. We don’t judge any potential players based on ability, we want people to join our teams and feel welcomed. Check out @upgeogfootball and @upgeognetball for updates on our sports teams.

We aim to host one official drinking social every 2 weeks as well as non-drinking socials such as cinema, volunteering, and board game nights. Alongside our socials we host an annual winter ball and the legendary ‘Beer Olympics’ at the end of the year.
