Welcome to the University of Plymouth's Pakistani Society! 3,930 miles from Plymouth to the motherland, Pakistan, we aim to inculcate our colourful, diverse and unique culture to fellow students by organizing fun-filled events throughout the year. The events lined up for this academic year include game nights, charity dinners, cricket and badminton matches, bowling nights and collaborations with other societies within the university, and UK Pakistani societies. Whether you are a Pakistani or a student looking to explore a new heritage, we invite you to come be a part of our family!
Our values as a society are to have a safe space for students from all walks of life who can feel a sense of belonging here at the University. We aim for students to develop cross-cultural understanding and form friendships all whilst having an enjoyable time.
DISCLAIMER: This society does not discriminate whether you're Pakistani or not or if you're Muslim or not or if you're an international student or not. As Quaid-e-Azam once said: “You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in the State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the state.” So feel free to sign up for a unique experience.
If you have any concerns or questions about the society, please do not hesitate and contact us via our Socials!
