The University of Plymouth Labour Society is a place for all students who sympathise with the ideas of the Labour Party. We offer members opportunities to discuss and get involved with local politics.

Socials

We aim to meet up around once a month at the SU or other pubs/restaurants. Often, we have collaborated on this with other societies.

Formal events

Last year we co-hosted a Christmas meal and organised a talk with Luke Pollard MP. We plan to hold more events like this this year.

Canvassing

Depending on member interest, the committee will show members how to canvass in the local community with other Labour activists.
