Our 2023/2024 season has been full of exciting games with many wins, a few losses and a couple of intense draws. With a large intake of new players into the UPNC family, our club has 5 teams into our local PDNL league. 2 teams in our Bucs League as well as our Intramural teams in our University Netball League. We are proud of all of our teams’ performances throughout the year and want to continue with another successful year, welcoming new freshers and our old girls back to the UPNC family.

For the 2024/2025 season, one of our goals for UPNC is to offer members the chance to participate in training sessions led by professional players or qualified coaches. This will help enhance their skills and provide an opportunity for high-level gameplay. Additionally, UPNC members can choose to compete in netball by attending trials or join our Superleague for a more relaxed and enjoyable game experience.

In addition to our traditional-themed social events on Wednesday nights, we also host sober socials where the entire club can come together for activities like film nights, pottery painting, or study sessions in the library. We aim to raise £500 for our chosen charity this year and complete 48 hours of volunteering through various fundraising opportunities. Welfare remains a core focus for UPNC, and we will continue to assign a well-being secretary to each team to ensure all members receive the support they need. We also encourage more members to participate in the “Look After Your Mate” training and to engage with our new “Mother and Daughter” scheme within the club.

To our returning alumni and new freshers, we can't wait to welcome you back to Plymouth. We are excited about the new season ahead. We’re looking forward to seeing our teams rise to the top of the tables and secure league victories with a fresh new look for the club.
