About

The University of Plymouth Golf Club (UPGC) is a friendly club that gives you the chance to play regular golf in between studying for your University degree.
Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner golfer, we welcome all abilities! There are opportunities to play casually and competitively! This year we have 1 mixed university golf team in the BUCS leagues, competing at the highest level in British University golf!
We currently play at Yelverton golf club on the edge of Dartmoor. The course has 18 holes, practice greens and a short driving range.

Socials

We hold regular socials, with the majority being 'themed nights'. From beachwear to white t-shirt nights, fun is a common factor in all our socials.

Wednesday nights are the usual social event nights, so we can go out and celebrate our teams' triumphs. UPGC socials are lively, fun and always produce a great night out! It’s a great way to get to know people in the society so don't hesitate to come along!

Events

For the serious golfers, we have 1 mixed team that compete in the BUCS leagues each year. This year we will be competing against other universities from Wales and the South West. 

We have regular training sessions during the week and play casual games every weekend which is open to everyone.

We also enter students into the BUCS 'Student Tour'. These are national events where students compete against each other at prestigious venues in a scratch, stroke-play format.

Full - £275
