Part-time Officer Election 2018

The Part-time Environment and Sustainability Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to issues concerning the environment and sustainability, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time Faith and Belief Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to issues concerning faith and belief, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time International Students Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to issues affecting international students, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time LGBT+ Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to LGBT+ issues, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. Only students who self define as being LGBT+ can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time Mature Students Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to issues affecting mature students, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can vote for this role but it would be preferable if candidates define as a mature student.

The Part-time Welfare Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to welfare issues, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time Societies Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to society issues, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time Sports Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to sporting issues, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Part-time Volunteering Officer will actively gather student feedback in relation to volunteering issues, they will represent these views to the students' union and university. They will attend the Union Council to debate and vote on policy and work with Sabbatical Officers to run campaigns and activities relating to their area of interest. All students can stand and vote for this role

The Chair of Union Council is responsible for chairing the Union Council meetings, and progressing and chasing any actions arising from the meetings. They should run the meetings in the most fair and democratic way possible and should become knowledgeable of the UPSU Memorandum & Articles and Bye-laws so the meetings can be run in accordance with these.
