As a member of the SU Gym, you have free access to a range of fitness classes, including strength, resistance, and cardio classes designed to be both beginner-friendly and cater to those who want to be challenged!

Classes are run by qualified, friendly instructors who want to help you make the most out of your membership and support your health goals!

These classes are a great way to keep active whilst also providing the opportunity to socialise with friends or meet new, like-minded people!

It's important to note that Pump classes are structured around high repetitions. Therefore, we recommend using lighter weights during class to maintain proper form and technique. There's no pressure to lift the heaviest weights possible—what matters most is consistency and progression. As you continue attending classes and build strength, you can gradually increase the weight to challenge yourself and optimize your strength training results.

One of the best things about a spin class is that you have control over the intensity of your workout. Each spin bike is equipped with a resistance knob located under the handlebars, allowing you to adjust the resistance level according to your fitness level and goals.
