The SU Gym is situated conveniently in the heart of campus, open to students, staff, and to the public.
An SU Gym membership provides you with unlimited use of a 50+ station, air-conditioned gym with the latest gym apparatus as well as a diversity of strength and cardio classes, including yoga and pilates!
The SU Gym also includes squash courts, a dance studio, a multi-purpose sports hall, and a sports injuries clinic, as well as expert support from our knowledgeable members of staff, including personal programmes, training sessions, and nutritional advice!

- Mon-Fri, 7:30am-10pm
- Sat & Sun, 9am-6pm
- Bank holidays, closed
- Last entry is 45-minutes before we close

Classes
With an SU Gym membership, you have access to a range of weekly classes run by qualified instructors, including spin, yoga, and pilates! These sessions are both beginner-friendly and cater to those who want to be challenged!
*If you don’t have a membership, you can pay for individual classes.

Sports & Hire
If you need a space for group activities or sports sessions, we can help with that!
Hire our full-sized gym hall for sports such as basketball, futsal, or badminton, or split the hall into four courts, three squash courts, and a studio!
*Anyone can hire our sports hall; you don’t need a membership!
